The colour I want isn't there, what can I do?
COLOUR NOTE FOR BACKPACKTHULHU: The fabric I selected was chosen to keep shipping costs somewhat manageable, however it has a limited colour range. If there's a colour you particularly want that isn't listed here, please select the 'extended colour range' options for both colours and get in touch with me. There is another fabric with a wider colour range, but it's heavier and harder to work with, so there will be additional production and shipping costs. I can either set up a custom pledge level or we can sort it out through paypal :).

What about VAT/GST?
Shipping for manufactured Bagthulhus to NZ, USA, Canada, and the EU includes VAT/GST and customs duties.
USA, CANADA & EU BACKERS: There are two shipping options that I can offer for handmade rewards.
Option 1 - I import the handmade rewards to a fulfillment centre within your region, and I pay the VAT/GST and any customs duties, and they then distribute domestically. This option allows me to cover any taxes and duties on entry and allows for tracking to be added more cheaply (an additional 5 NZD). This is the main shipping option on all the handmade rewards. It is more expensive, but less hassle for backers. If you prefer this option, simply proceed as normal.
Option 2 - I can ship directly to backers from New Zealand. This is a cheaper option, but I have no influence over what customs in your country will decide to charge you in the way of duties and taxes. It is also much more expensive to add tracking (triple the base cost usually). If you would prefer this option, please add the "direct shipping" add on, and before you credit card is charged, I will work out the cost of shipping your order directly and credit the difference to your cart, so you will only be charged for the lower cost. If you would like tracking, my suggestion is to use the option above as it will likely work out cheaper.
NEW ZEALAND BACKERS - Handmade rewards will be shipped directly from me and will be tracked by default. Manufactured Bagthulhus will be imported directly to me and I will distribute them alongside the handmade rewards and cover any import duties etc.
AUSTRALIAN BACKERS - I have tried to contact several fulfillment companies in Australia but had no response, so unfortunately I will only be able to offer the direct shipping option for both manufactured Bagthulhus and handmade rewards. This gives me no influence regarding GST and customs duties, but shipping costs from New Zealand are fairly low, so hopefully that will help make up for it. If you would like to upgrade to tracked shipping, please let me know and I will make a custom add on.
BACKERS IN OTHER COUNTRIES - At this stage I'm only able to provide direct shipping, and I can't predict what customs in your individual countries will decide to charge or not charge. If there is a demand in specific areas in the future for little monsters I can look for more comprehensive fulfillment options :).

If you are selecting multiple add ons, it might be worth getting in touch to look at collapsing your order into a single pledge level.
Backerkit's shipping system does not have the functionality to let me differentiate shipping prices between an add on to an existing pledge level and a single item pre order, so the shipping price for each add on is the cost of shipping one individually. However, it costs less to add an item to an existing order than it does to ship that item individually.
So if you're ordering multiple add ons as a pre order, or adding them to a pledge level, get in touch and I'll work out the shipping cost and see if we can make it a bit cheaper for you.

I want direct shipping, what do I do?
BACKERS IN EU, US, & CANADA - Just select the direct shipping add on, and before I charge your card, I'll add a credit to your cart, so when your card is charged, it will be less. Please be aware that this makes you responsible for any duties and taxes that your country's customs may decide to charge.
ALL OTHER BACKERS - Direct shipping is the default :)

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the project is locked down for shipping. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Why can’t I log into my account?
Request a login link to your survey by entering your email here:
BackerKit will send you an automated email with an invite link to whatever email you pledged with.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
When will my pledge will be shipped, charged or locked down?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
Can I upgrade or get multiple copies of my pledge?
This depends on the project creator’s decision. If you are unable to see the ‘Want to switch your pledge level?’ after clicking on your pledge amount under “Pledge Level” in your survey, then the project creator would prefer people not to switch pledge levels.
